(The Tutorial is done individually and not as a team.)  

On the Participant Dashboard, click on “Training” (left hand menu) and go through the following three areas as under:

Beginner: Go through the “Welcome to Capsim 2.0” and “How to Run Your Company” videos and do the short quiz that follows it.

Intermediate: The Intermediate Tutorial has a hands-on approach to the simulation decision areas in the Capstone 2.0 Interface. The tutorial will show you how to use the interface to make “what-if” decisions. The Tutorial also gives you an opportunity to take the decisions of Product revisions, Price setting, Forecasting, Production Scheduling, Capacity Planning and Financing.

To complete the Rehearsal, follow these steps:

• • During the tutorial you are making decisions for the various areas mentioned above. Work through all eight tactics.
  • Take the quiz.

Please complete the Intermediate tutorial in its entirety. This will help you throughout the Capstone 2.0 program and is mandatory.

The Advanced Tutorial: In the Advanced Tutorial you have an opportunity to review the Capstone 2.0 Report, a report that shows you how your company performed against competitors. This will also guide you through the common workflow within the simulation and help you conduct a competitive analysis of the various customer segments and competitors in the simulation.

Furthermore, kindly ensure the completion of the Human Resources (HR) and Total Quality Management (TQM) guide provided herein for future reference.

Download and read the pdf “User Guide” under the Help and Support link on the top of the screen. The Guide will be useful throughout the simulation.
